Leeds park and ride coming from the south

I want to go to Leeds city centre on a weekday afternoon, approaching in a car from the M1 south, and leaving in the late evening.

Can anyone suggest a park and ride station with frequent trains? Ideally using the £9.90 day ticket, and with free parking.

The buses in the official park and ride stop too early.
