Hi all

Anyone know if I can travel via Sheffield when going from Stockport to London?

Basically I'm finishing the weekend in Sheffield and want to get the train from there hopefully on the same return ticket

Welcome to the forum.

Yes it is permitted (map PR). What times are you planning to travel on your outward & return portions? Do you already hold a ticket?

A Haywards Heath - Stockport Off Peak Return (SVR) costs £97.10.

This is valid by any train from Haywards Heath - London, then from Euston "after 0429 and before 09:26 or after 15:00 and before 18:45", so the 19:00 is fine.

You may break your return portion of your ticket in Sheffield, and as you are arriving into London on a Sunday you don't need to worry about any restrictions.
