Just finished watching a DVD of the 1975 TV series of model world narrated by Bob Symes. I thought it had long been wiped or even lost but all ten parts have survived and apart from a few glitches such as loss of sound here and there and some white lines for a few seconds on the screen it is fine .
Most of what is shown on there no matter what you model has not really changed much as far as kit and scratch building are concerned although model trains have come a long way. If it was made today then it would need to cover radio controlled cars and lorries which are very popular today.
The follow up series model magic from 1981 which I can not remember but will purchase soon is also available along with the above from spruce studios of Exeter.
