New Thomas & Friends narrator

It appears that Pierce Brosnan has been announced as the new Thomas & Friends narrator. He will make is debut in Autumn 2008.

Haha excellent! I would have expected Pierce Brosnan though the actor that he is to have found a better job since James Bond and his other films. I can never remember the name of the narrator i was use to as a kid.

I agree with you. I think he was the best narrator.

I think Pierce will do a good job. He has a voice for it. But I agree, Ringo was by far the best, and every time I think about TTTE, I hear his voice!

I did like Michael Angelis but only in the seasons made during 1991 - 1993. He sounded different to what he'd narrated in later Thomas series.

I too think Mr Brosnan will do a good job.

I grew up with ringo starr narrating TTTE and I found him the best. No-one could replace him.
