Mildly amused when I seen Northern Rail's take on the Trainline's Sheep adverts, currently advertised on the Northern homepage.

Thought this one was worth sharing:

I don't think Northern's campaign will do too much to prevent The Trainline pulling the wool over peoples' eyes sadly

What if I want to shear the journey with the dog? Does Northern allow me to take my mutton the train?

Probably not, people know that the cheapest fares are on Thetrainlie. Also they might be making a journey which isn't on Northern.

Is it just me or does the chap in the Northern adverts look acutely embarrassed to be there? It's almost as bad as the poster they put up at Northern stations which for no apparent reason has a virtual polar bear just poking his head into shot!

At least he does not look as much of a tw** as the bloke holding the ticket with the smug look on the Trainline's posters

The cheapest rail may well be online but not necessarily on The Trainline. Also passengers can book non-Northern Rail journies on Northern's site.
