Being lucky enough to live in an area where both train operators runs looking at vacancies on their websites, what are the travel perks and salaries compared side by side with each other ?

Possible roles platform staff or on board.

Has anyone worked with both companies or just talking shop in the canteen swapping infos.

Neither are exactly happy ships at the moment. There's also no guarantee that you would receive a job offer from either or both, so if you'd consider both, I would apply for and accept whichever came first.
