Norwich To Liverpool

Hello does anyone know how many cars run on this route and is it possible to travel first class ?

2 car 158 from Norwich gaining another 2 to make a 4 car from Nottingham until Liverpool. Standard class only.

 

[Failed Unit]

The direct route. 2 cars (although does double up at Nottingham) and no first on it.

However with a lot of changes you can avoid London (should you want to) and get first.

One option.
Norwich - Ely
Ely - Birmingham
Birmingham- Liverpool.

But you could go via Leeds, Doncaster & Sheffield to name some other options.

On the return leg back from Liverpool to Norwich, which section of the train should you board to avoid having to change when its splits at Nottingham down to 2 cars only?

On a normal day:

Rear 2 between Liverpool and Sheffield
Front 2 from Sheffield.
