Hi guys

Was on the train leaving Lime at 4.36pm, stopped at Edge Hill station for about 10 mins..we got off and got the train back to Lime. Since then all trains are cancelled coming in and out of Lime via Huyton route.

What obstruction would that be I wonder.

A wall from a property next to line at Roby collapsed and possibly made line unstable.
As of 2000 all lines are reopened at caution

It was a small land slip next to houses that back on to the railway line. The ‘wall’ as previously reported by Network Rail is actually boundary fencing
