Hi there
Im new to the forums and found this message.
You are allowed to stay overnight on Carkisle so long that you sign in,sign out with the night manager.
Hope this helps.

Hi there
in a full night 6:30pm-9:00am you will probably see about 5 pairs of 86's
9 92's and millions of 66's (doh!) You also the 4 caladonian sleepers which are class 90 hauled. If you are luckey you might get 2 mail trains.
Hope this helps,
Thomas

Yes, but it's mainly main lines: Reading, Doncaster, Crewe, Carlisle, Newport, Acton, Northallerton, Derby, Rugby, Ipswich all good.

You should consults freightmaster timetables for an extract breakdown

http://www.freightmasterpublishing.co.uk/

Freight tends to vary, its always quiet around holiday periods. Freightliners and coal trains tend to run most regularly because there is always demand from power stations and moving containers. Christmas week tends to be barren.
