Try a different website? Or were you booking EMT tickets and hoped to get the £1 off?

EastCoast is the best IMO

If your payments are declined, your bank may have temporarily blocked transactions on your card from that vendor.
I had a problem a while back as I had made multiple bookings for tickets using the EC site within a few minutes of each other (when they had an offer on for advance tickets) & after the first 2 payments, my card was declined on the EC site - it worked OK everywhere else.
I used a different card & the 3rd transaction went through.
it is working again now.

Yes it worked now, but it meant that the fares have gone up and ive pauid 6 quid more which i am not happy about
I refuse to use thetrainlione.com as it charges . I could have used abother one but they were all charging 12 or 13 quid at the time. Originally tickets were 9 quid had to pay 12 now which ok is only 3 quid more but is annoying when theynwere there to buy

I was sorting out my football travel and did several games in one session, booking around £150 of train and coach tickets in quick succession. Several hours later I had a call from the fraud detection unit at Mastercard asking me to confirm the transactions were genuine.
