Hi All

Does anyone know whether there is a definitive list of rail tours that visit Kyle of Lochalsh? Living on Skye these days and any chance to view anything other than a 158 will be gratefully received :)

Thanks

If you can manage a day out to Dingwall, the GB tour will be visiting there en route from Wick to Inverness behind steam on May 1, official times not out yet, but expected around 1730.

There are the Midland Pullman trips as well. Kyle is Day 2 of its "Lord of the Isles Pullman" itinerary. Just look for the dates on their website. The first one is next weekend.

Don't forget "Scotland's poshest train" the Royal Scotsman which comes to Kyle once or twice per week from early April until October. GBRF 66 in charge, 66743 or 66746 in Royal Scotsman livery. It's in Kyle tonight and will head back to Aviemore tomorrow morning.
