Hi all. I'm about to start a training course to become a rail track maintenance operative and was hoping to get some advice from those who know. Is it possible to only work days and evenings without working nights, or do you get given very little choice in your shift pattern?
I've worked nights before and it affected my health somewhat.
Also, how difficult is it to progress and/or apply for other roles once you're on site?
