Hello everyone.
Hope you are doing well.
I come back with a new question.
I want to get your help because I am very busy.
What do you know about the RO-RO ships? I mean the combination of Rail transport & Maritime transport.
I looking for information about the types, capacity(number of wagons, number of tracks in them, Axle load of loaded wagons) and everything you think useful of these vessels.
I think these types of vessels can change the ports into a railway station, for both passengers and cargoes.

A Ro-Ro ship is any ship where vehicles, whether they be Road or rail vehicles, can be driven on and off the ship without reversing. Some can take both Road and rail vehicles but most are Road vehicles only.

The capacity is different on virtually every ship so is difficult to answer. Is there any specific vessel you had in mind?

yes, I want information about vessels that can take rail vehicles & wagons and also some information about the ports which have special wharfs for them. I don't think there are many.

Where in the world are you thinking about? :)
I'm sorry but I'm Think you are kidding me! cause it doesn't make any difference!

There are no RO-RO ships capable of taking trains in service in the UK.
These are the wiki pages for what I believe were the last four, all made redundant by the Channel Tunnel and sold on as road ferries (and renamed)
Note that none of these ships were exclusively for rail traffic: all could, and did, take both car and lorry road traffic.

St Eloi https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MV_Sporades_Star
Nord Pas-de-Calais https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MS_Al_Andalus_Express
Saint Germain https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MV_Saint_Germain_(1951)
Cambridge Ferry https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MV_Cambridge_Ferry

this page has some other relevant wikipedia links

==note==
I have not included previews of the linked pages here as I fear that would make the post unintelligible
