Hi,
On Saturday I'm planning on travelling from Sheffield to Edale on the train with a young persons railcard with the return journey being from Castleton (the village in the peak district not the station in the Manchester area). A number of years ago I did the same journey where (what I think was a standard)return ticket on the train allowed me to return from Castleton to Sheffield using the local bus. I've taken a look on the Travel South Yorkshire and Peak District websites and can't any further information on this. Does anyone know if the ticket arrangement still exists or what the alternatives are - I don't intend on any other journeys so I think a day ranger ticket is probably the more expensive option.
Thanks
