Thanks for your video JapanJim, looks awesome! Riding the Tokaido (and Sanyo between Kobe and Osaka) Shinkansen is always a pleasure.
While we're posting videos of our journeys, here's one I took back in 2013: Friday night, heading from Shinagawa through the heart of eastern Tokyo to Tokyo Station. I hope you enjoy it! Soundtrack to the video is the aptly named "Tokyo" by Stanton Warriors. Watch out plenty of cameos from Keihin-Tohoku and Yamanote Line services, as well as for great views of the Tokyo tower, Shimbashi, and the Tokyo Station/Marunouchi skyscraper district.
