The signal box at Highams Park station (London overground) 24 minutes from Liverpool Street, has renovated the unused signal box and now has seats and sells drinks and crepes (large hot sweet or savoury crepe around £5 hot drinks around £3) It's a great place to watch the trains that pass every 8 minutes and if you sit on the line side the train goes literally under your feet and you can feel the vibrations. I went this weekend and thought some people might like to check it out.
It's called la boite, (the box in French) it's Highams Park E4 9PT.

The correct French is poste d'aiguillage - points rather than signals! - but shortening it to "la poste" would be very confusing, so it's a sensible piece of Franglais. Hope it's a success.
