Hi all,
I have a Sony DCS-S40 camera, but it has a fault.
The digital viewing screen on the camera won't show the photograph properly, and instead appears as a distorted blur, or just a plain white colour.
When I press the zoom in or zoom out button, the lens goes in and out as normal.
It sometimes takes photos as normal.
The manual says to remove the batteries for half an hour-an hour, to reset the micro computer. I've tried this, but it hasn't made any difference.
I've a feeling i've accidently altered a setting on the menu which has altered the camera, but can't reset it.
Many thanks for any help
