A 15-year-old from Sri Lanka has spent his Covid lockdown building a solar-powered tuk-tuk. The best part is that Suntharalingam Piranawan used scraps for his homemade vehicle - and it works.

This is quite an incredible achievement for anyone, let alone someone so young. I do think more needs to be done in the area of sustainability, such as in this case both the reusing old parts to make good use of discarded items and also using solar power.
