Hi,

Are there any step free options to transfer between London Paddington and London Euston?

On a recent transfer between EUS and PAD I really struggled on the Underground with heavy luggage.

If there are no route options, how much can I expect to pay for a black cab or Uber?

Many thanks in advance.

Euston Square is only step-free Westbound, so I would suggest taking the Circle/Hammersmith and City from platforms 15/16 over the bridge, going through to Kings Cross, walking across to the Westbound platform and coming back to Euston Sq. However, there is only lift access from platforms 1 and 12 so you might have a fair walk to the buffer stops and back :(

Alternatively, I would consider using the Elizabeth Line to Farringdon and back to Euston Sq.

Finally, I would book assistance at Paddington if going to 15/16, because of the potential distance.

Someone who is more up-to-date on Paddington might have more advice.

The 205 bus might work for you.
It goes from the side of Paddington Station, then along Praed Street in front, and in the direction you're going stops at the Euston Station bus rank (in the opposite direction it uses Euston Road).
Every 10 minutes.

I would echo the 205 bus as being a good plan, particularly that way round because it goes into Euston bus station which is slightly closer than the taxi rank.

Alternatively, I would consider using the Elizabeth Line to Farringdon and back to Euston Sq.

Probably less walking and faffing involved in using the Circle/H&C to Kings Cross/St Pancras then going back one stop in the other direction (lifts at Euston Square are westbound only). KXSP is an island platform.

Going from the Liz to the Circle/H&C at Farringdon involves a fair bit of walking. Indeed there's a lot of walking in most interchanges to/from the Liz which removes some of its speed.

But the bus is probably best, only a short walk at Paddington to the stop and almost no walk at all at Euston. I think you'd actually walk less far to do that than to use a taxi.
