Hi, I'm just wondering how bad is the T2 bus from Aberystwyth to Bangor? I plan do that on the 8 June because it quite long ride.
You probably need to be a bit clearer on the question.Hi im just wondering how bad is t2 bus from Aberystwyth to Bangor I plan do that on the 8 June because it quite long ride
I do feel that it is poor having a major bus interchange at Dolgellau without a toilet. If you are connecting between T2 and T3 at Dolgellau, the total journey time may be well over 3 hours. You can also break the journey. T28 Aberystwyth - Machynlleth an hour before. T22 Porthmadog to Caernarfon an hour later followed by a 5C to Bangor. These are bus services and not a coach service. https://lloydscoaches.com/
That would mean having to build a new bus station rather than using Eldon Square.I do feel that it is poor having a major bus interchange at Dolgellau without a toilet. If you are connecting between T2 and T3 at Dolgellau, the total journey time may be well over 3 hours.
It's only about 3 minutes' walk to the public toilets by the car park – in most cases you have 10 minutes to make your connection so as long as your bus arrives on time then you should be fine (although it's a bit tighter if you're heading towards Aberystwyth as those buses don't wait the full 10 minutes).I do feel that it is poor having a major bus interchange at Dolgellau without a toilet. Or converting one of the long empty shops into toilets. It does say a lot that toilets are provided for those arriving by car, but not for those by busThat would mean having to build a new bus station rather than using Eldon Square.
It may be possible to do it in that time, but only if you know where you are going. I have walked it, and I am sure that it took me a lot longer than 3 minutes. I may not have taken the most direct route, as it is very easy to get yourself disoriented in Dolgellau, with all the narrow lanes and twists and turns. I doubt that many would want to do it, as it is totally out of view of the bus. It's only about 3 minutes' walk to the public toilets by the car park – in most cases you have 10 minutes to make your connection so as long as your bus arrives on time then you should be fine (although it's a bit tighter if you're heading towards Aberystwyth as those buses don't wait the full 10 minutes).
No public loos in Mach at the moment, though the White Lion by the clock tower is very handy for a swift halfYou can also break the journey. T28 Aberystwyth - Machynlleth an hour before.
