Hi all,
I know it's been done to death and there is likely to be a definitive answer of "depends" but my partner and I are looking to spend a few nights in Cardiff later in the year - dates are flexible. We quite like the idea of travelling down by train and the first class experience as well as the dining will make it a little bit special for us.
Which sets are loco hauled, and any tips on getting the cheapest tickets? (Two together railcard). We will be starting the journey at Euxton Balshaw Lane (EBA) - we could do Buckshaw Parkway (BSV) although it's not quite walkable for us, so we need to allow a bit of time, but it's going to be purely leisure so time isn't a problem.
Thanks in advance
