Thameslink Season Ticket validity on LNER

Hello

I have an annual season ticket for Hitchin to London Thameslink. There have been the odd occasions e.g. minor disruption where I would have been better hopping on an LNER service from Kings Cross to Stevenage to pick up the stopping service.

I have checked BR Fares but couldn't see any obvious restriction which would prevent it but would appreciate a view if it is a valid option generally for use of this ticket?

Thanks

It's absolutely valid on LNER.

In general, unless specifically restricted to one operator (e.g. the "Thameslink/Great Northern only" seasons you can get from Peterborough to London), tickets are valid on all National Rail operators' services along the route, even if that involves making 'unnecessary' changes.

With a season or Anytime ticket (and most Off-Peak tickets) you can also start or finish your journey at any intermediate station.
