I have created a webpage with public transport information for the area, and I noticed that on TIGER departures, when you click on Maiden Newton you get the next five departures. (If I had posted earlier there were six departures showing!)

It's currently 16:07 and it shows departures up to 20:00.

For Dorchester West, on the same line it shows only the 16:13 departure.
Just wondering why this would be the case? I imagine its the feed from... wherever the feed comes from! Or is there something else afoot?

I’d assume The site is set up to show a certain number of hours OR “x” number of departures - most locations will reach the latter option before the former. I think different operators have specified different time limits as well.

I will do some further investigating. The 1801 and 1915 Maiden Newton to Bristol departures, depart Dorchester West earlier so in theory should be on the DCW board.

It will be location specific configuration of the time window, stations with infrequent services sometimes have higher thresholds to avoid empty boards when trains are running normally. Dorchester West should probably have the same configuration as Maiden Newton but doesn't for whatever reason.
