TPE services to Oxenholme on Friday 5Th April

I will be travelling to Oxenholme on Friday which coincides with the Avanti strike day.

Fortunately I had already decided before the strikes were announced to book LNER from Stevenage to Leeds instead of going via Euston.

One query I have is how busy are the TPE services likely to be to Oxenholme? I will only be using it for the short section from Lancaster so not a problem standing as long as I can get on the train with my luggage.

They can get busy - Glasgow services - usually less busy than Edinburgh services.
Northern services to Oxenholme & Windermere area are also available on 5 April, but not on Saturday 6 April.

Depending on how much luggage you have, and your destination after Oxenholme, you could leave the Leeds train at Carnforth and catch the 555 bus which now stops at the station northbound.
