So I've downloaded Train Status PT and that is quite helpful when I need to find if a timetabled passenger service is running / find where it is.

Is there anything I can use to find what freight services are running and track them?
Are there any live signalling maps like a Portuguese Tracksy equivalent?
Any pointers to other helpful websites / apps very much appreciated.

The Train Status PT App does show freight services but you need to search on a location (station) basis. If you select the clock like symbol on top bar of the app and then type in a station name (say Entroncamento) you have the option to show passenger, freight or service trains as you prefer. The freights tend to be 5 digit numbers. You need to play around with the times a bit to get what period you want. By pressing on any of the trains that show up in the resulting table will give you the trains full route and often the loco numbers as well.

In order to know all stopping and non-stopping trains at a station, please select... I believe... "All Passages" over "Arrivals" and "Departures".

Olá,

You can use the APP "CatchUP" or https://www.cp.pt/passageiros/pt/consultar-horarios/proximos-comboios. You just need to select the boarding station.
