Tyne and Wear Metro Driver Job

Hi, I’ve been looking everywhere for things regarding becoming a driver for the Tyne and Wear metro and I can’t seem to find any applications or anything.

Does anybody have any tips or anything So I don’t miss recruitment.

There was a thread (last contributed to in the Spring) which suggested it'd be a good while until another cohort was taken on. There haven't been any recruitment drives since. Considering the popularity of the job, rest assured it'll probably end up in the thread below, a new thread and probably the local press when there is one.

Threads such as "How do I become a [insert job title here]?" or "When will X be advertising again?" are likely to be locked or deleted, especially if they have already been asked before. This includes speculative posts about positions which may or may not become open in future.
