UK Buses fleet lists

Hi, I've recently downloaded some of these lists (hands down the best available digitally) however the pdfs are password protected, meaning I can't highlight vehicles I have seen. Has anyone else had this issue?

It's deliberate to stop people copying and pasting off it

Fleet Lists are provided for personal use only and can be removed without notice at any time, and are not for commercial use and/or financial gain. Fleet lists are in PDF format with the print and cut/paste options disabled. These options will always remain in place, so please do not ask for them to be removed.

That’s a shame but I can see why. For my purposes that renders them useless as I can’t highlight vehicles when I see them.

There's always the old-fashioned way of doing things; print them out and use a real highlighter

Printing is locked out of use as well- I doubt my organisation would look to kindly on printing hundreds of pages of nerdy buss stuff even if I could!

Personally, I’d just use something like Google Sheets so you don’t need to deal with them being password protected (although you need a Google account to do that). That is what I do generally, like here as an example:
