Using the FIP for eurostar car travel

Is it possible to get the FIP discount when using a car on the Eurostar or does it only apply to foot passengers?

Eurostar doesn't convey cars, only passengers. I think you are confusing it with the Channel Tunnel Getlink shuttle from Folkestone to Calais, which only conveys road vehicles, not foot passengers. Unsure of there is FIP available on that?

Yeah i cant find anything on the RDG site or on the Eurotunnel site. Fingers crossed someone can though!

There are no rail staff travel facilities on Eurotunnel. You need to pay the full public rate.

We do get a discount on P&O if that's of any use to you.

I can't remember howI I did it as it was a while ago, but I think there was a special link to take you to P&O website and then you enter number from priv card for a discount.

The discount is 25% with a car, hardly a massive perk but better than nothing I suppose. The link to book 25% discounted car crossings is here. It's travel by foot that is good value, as there is no fare to pay - just the port taxes of £4pp.
