Anyone able to answer some questions about WMR? Ideally about Crewe specifically, but also just general driver Ts and Cs, rostering practices etc

Thanks but I didn't mean the route card that's in a pinned thread, wanted to hear from the drivers who work for them.

WMR without doubt have the best terms and conditions in the country.

They've given next to nothing away over the years

Ts and Cs, Sundays, RD pattern, leave arrangements, links/rosters, earliest starts and latest finishes etc
Sundays are OT non-committed, standard 3 week rolling RD (Mon+Tues, Wed+Thurs, Fri+Sat).
Crewe has 1 link, imagine Shrewsbury does too.
For Crewe, roughly 4am on earlies, last late finishes roughly 2am but includes shed moves so finishes earlier than that.
No starter link, all routes signed at the start. 730 training nearing completion

Cheers for the info.

Do you know if new starters would still sign 350s or just do 730s?

What would you like to know?
Really appreciate if you could tell me about these:

What's the average turn length?

How many Sundays are rostered?

What is their Sunday rate and hours?

Is RD work sanctioned? If so, at what rate and do they have a minimum payment?

Anything else that's of note in their Ts&Cs?

TIA

9hrs as its a 36hr 4 day week, or maybe 35hrs actually so 8hr45.

Not sure how many, average 1 every 3-5 weeks, occasionally 2 per 4 week period.

1.5x rate for Sundays

RD work currently available, no enhanced rate other than Saturday at 1.25x and Sunday at 1.5x

Not even that any more, they lost Rugeley when it was electrified. Just Birmingham both ways now, and Tysley depot.
