so the zone 1-2 is just single travel in zone1-2 and cannot be used for multiple travels between 1-2... ?A Travelcard to ZONES 1-6 includes unlimited travel in the appropriate London zones.
There are more expensive “anytime” and cheaper “evening out” versions.![]()

The ticket to LONDON TERMINALS is cheaper but does not include any other travel.
The other approach is to buy the ticket to London Terminals and use Oyster or contactless within Zone 1/2.so the zone 1-2 is just single travel in zone1-2 and cannot be used for multiple travels between 1-2... ?
if i need multiple travels between 1-2 i need to buy 1-6 travel card : ?
thanks

Correct - one journey each way.so the zone 1-2 is just single travel in zone1-2 and cannot be used for multiple travels between 1-2... ?
if i need multiple travels between 1-2 i need to buy 1-6 travel card : ?
No because you would arrive at Waterloo (which is the relevant London Terminal) before 10:00.thanks,
so trying to get off peak ticket .. can i take the off peak travel card...
and start at 8.55 woking to kings cross (reaching at 10.03 but via waterloo and underground)
will this be valid please ?
oh ok.. and how about avoid waterloo and reach kings cross after 10..No because you would arrive at Waterloo (which is the relevant London Terminal) before 10:00.
The restriction is here: https://www.brfares.com/!faredetail?orig=WOK&dest=1072&grpd=0035&tkt=ODT
It doesn't make a difference where you board or leave the train, it's not valid on trains that arrive at London Terminals (e.g. Waterloo) before 10am.oh ok.. and how about avoid waterloo and reach kings cross after 10..
like woking to clapham -> vauxhall -> kings cross after 10 ?
No the Woking to Clapham Junction off-peak day return ticket has the same restriction: not valid on trains timed to arrive London Terminals before 10:00.oh ok.. and how about avoid waterloo and reach kings cross after 10..
like woking to clapham -> vauxhall -> kings cross after 10 ?
edit: vauxhall is london terminal
Ok before i confuse myself more.. i have to be at farringdon, old street or barbican by 10.20 from woking..It doesn't make a difference where you board or leave the train, it's not valid on trains that arrive at London Terminals (e.g. Waterloo) before 10am.
It would be extremely tight and unlikely to be doable reliably (if it's a job or other commitment you're attending).Ok before i confuse myself more.. i have to be at farringdon, old street or barbican by 10.20 from woking..
is there any route where i can do this via off peak travelcard please ?
For an Anytime ticket, the additional cost of a Day Travelcard as opposed to a return to London Terminals well exceeds the daily PAYG cap for Zones 1-2 (which is £8.50). So in this case I would suggest a return ticket to London Terminals then use Contactless for travel within Zones 1 and 2.Maybe the £38.20 Anytime Day Travelcard from Woking is the most suitable / flexible for meeting the OPs travel requirements?
