Recently made a claim and have received a 2nd email from that is from [email protected]
headed " $UK XC - Customer Relations - UKXC "

In the email is a link that requests my bank details. My XC delay repay account already has my bank details on it though.

Is it genuine?

Looks like that's a valid e-mail address, although it could, of course, have been spoofed. With Cross Country, believe that you should have a choice of your Delay Repay compensation being paid in National Rail Vouchers, by BACS, by PayPal, or paid to charity.

Suppose you could always reply, going 'old school' and ask them to send you vouchers.

That is a genuine email address, although it's trivial to spoof email addresses. The key thing is that your bank details can't really be used for many nefarious activities - so you don't need to treat them as secret in the way you do for card details.

Thanks, that's good to know.

I tweeted XC as well and they gave a positive response.

Yeah XC delay repay claims all come from an email like this, in my opinion very odd.
