They are allocated during the night and should be available by approx 0400 on the day. You can't work out for the future as they may fail, withdrawn for exams, stepped up to cover shortages, service disruption plus 101 other reasons.

Can anyone tell me what locos were used on the down Highland sleeper last night please? 2115 from Euston to Inverness, Weds 20th into Thurs 21st. We had a loco change at Willesden due to a break down and had a 73 hauled by a 66 by the time we got to Inverness.
