The Forum Staff have decided to make a couple of changes to the structure of the Forum to recongise feedback from our members and the changing nature of content being posted.
Threads about speculative ideas and proposals from members will, in future, be located in a specialist sub forum entitled Speculative Ideas. This area will be a safe area for people to float their ideas and receive feedback on them.
As a general guide we would expect all threads currently covered by this rule to be in this area:
In addition we will shortly be moving all content regarding actual confirmed High Speed works and development from the Future High Speed Rail sub forum, into the relevant UK Railway forum areas. The relevant remaining threads will then be moved to the Speculative Ideas forum.
We have also been working on a few minor tweaks the forums functionality to ensure it operates how we intend following the transfer to the current software. We hope you approve of these changes which will be made over the next few days.
