I believe that all London Overground/Underground stations served by National Rail have them, but what about the other National Rail stations within the Travelcard zones? The only one I'm aware of right now is London St Pancras.

FGW stations have had working Oyster machines for a while now and have thus been accepting Pay-As-You-Go Oyster cards. You do sometimes have to know where they are - West Drayton's are at the bottom of the stairs on the far side of the subway.

Sorry just realised you meant the Ticket Vending Machines as opposed to the touch in/out machines. I have only ever see the vending machines at London Underground Stations.

London Overground stations now have ticket machines the DLR uses, however you cant top up oyster from them yet. I imagine these machines will be used when the ELL re-opens.

Southern's TVMs retail Oyster (certainly at Victoria).

With the PAYG roll out in January, SWT won't retail any Oyster proudcts except at the joint SWT/LUL station at Richmond and Wimbledon and only then from the Ticket Office.

Sorry i meant the LO stations formerly Southern stations from New Cross Gate to West Croydon.

I'm assuming no TOC's will retail Oyster at more of their stations, simply so they can massively reduce ticket office hours or close them completely, anyone else see that happening?

Wimbledon, City Thameslink (both Holborn Viaduct & Ludgate Hill) and London Blackfriars retail Oyster through the ticket offices but as of yet there are no TVM machines that do it yet.

The issues aren't down to that - it works in all London TOC interests to accept PAYG.

I don't think SWT want to spend a lot of money on buying more ticket machines, or retro fitting the existing ones, if there's no return over the life of the franchise. With the economy as it is and the large premium newer franchises have to pay the governement, TOCs aren't willing to invest in any large projects unless there's financial support from the DfT.

I can add London Blackfriars now - used a machine to add 50p yesterday.

Although not the same thing, a couple of new (but currently inoperable) EMT machines at StP have what I presume are ITSO pads - slim, black and rectangular, unlike their Oyster counterparts.
