Apparently 43190 has now finished with GWR totally.
Not sure where this has come, HT have been clear on twitter from the off that the are only having one HST set.The whole point was to have two sets so one can cover the other for like this instance.
Two sets as some one has pointed out before so if a power car or Mk3 needs an exam they can swap the set. As you say one set to cover for 180's and swap the other set weekly. Not sure where this has come, HT have been clear on twitter from the off that the are only having one HST set.

Possibly 43027?I wonder what PC will replace it on the Hull Trains set?
Possibly 43027?
So does that mean the 43020/023 will be up Hull this weekend?43010 + Hull set + 3 extra vehicles + 43190 moved from SPM to Laira today.
As posted last week.Possibly 43027?
And yes, 027 is likely to take place of 190.
43010 + Hull set + 3 extra vehicles + 43190 moved from SPM to Laira today.
As posted last week.
OC32 aka Hull Set 1 is heading down to Laira for it's overhaul, where the power car swap will be taking place. 010 to stay on the set with the change mentioned above for the rear PC.
Meanwhile, Hull set 2 aka OC31 43020 + 43023 has moved up from Laira to SPM and will take it's place on the Hull Diagram next week.
In response to the 2 set question mentioned above, one set will stay on a GW depot while the other is with Hull. They will swap out, but won't be working for Hull at the same time. This allows one to be in for maintenance while the other is operating and vice versa.
Does that therefore mean that HT will have access to an HST for a longer period than the current Friday-Sunday set up?
That the set has to return to SPM for even the most basic A exam is frankly shambolic and an utter waste of time and money (unless you’re the company doing the move!).I don't believe so. The current set up is to remain for now, unless management at Hull change their minds. The servicing & Exams of the set are carried out at GWs St Philips Marsh & Laira depots so the days between Sunday and Thursday are spent carrying those out.

Bounds Green?Where else is it gonna be done?
NL is full, Crofton are imcompetent, I'm not sure Botanic Gardens can do that work, and they'd have to taxi up staff from SPM anyway!
They could have done but now AGA have decided to put a 90 set in there may be less likely. Secondly the could do as a GC setBounds Green?
You mean everyone else saw WorstGroup coming and laughed in their face?Where else is it gonna be done?

It is not shrewd to be paying out to move stuff half way across the country and back again every week and leaving Hull with no cover for three days whilst they do so. Do agree that if the Oak was still open it would have made it much easier.Or it's First Group being shrewd and keeping the maintenance in house with the people that look after it's own HST Sets. If OOC Was still open, im sure they'd be maintained there. Reading isn't unfortunately set up to do it, so SPM for the lighter stuff and Laira for the heavier stuff seems the most plausible way to do it. Even if it does include basic A Exams that probably could be done in other depots. Im not First's biggest fan anymore either, but sometimes keeping things simpler like this does make a little sense!![]()
Or because they are operating former 222 diagrams so Etches is a much more natural home. Neville Hill are still doing the heavier work on them.Hmm, well Neville Hill is actually full, that's why the 43/4s are allocated to Etches Park!
Can anyone predict diagrams tomorrow please?
none as yet as the northbound move has been cancelled.
Could it have something to do with the VHBT between Exeter-Bristol as the driver could have been out of place?Does anyone know why?

Current plan for this week is to use it Thursday and Friday on the usual diagram (Hull dep 0823, KGX dep 1148, Hull 1512, KGX 1848) then the afternoon return trip (1531/1948) on Saturday.
