to be honest I haven’t heard news about it since last year, I don’t know if they will but if they do I wonder if it will effect other routes?
the 44 is the only key Lothian route along Balerno/Currie so limiting the stops there might cause some outroar, the 45 is suspended again anyway and only runs Monday to Friday so it’s not exactly an ideal subsitition.
Along the East corridor won’t be so bad as the 113 practically covers the same route from Abbeyhill-Musselburgh
There was quite a lot of pushback from locals and I don't think the case in favour was made very well. I know they've done similar pruning successfully in other cities - but maybe they just went ahead regardless of the resistance.
