Cadburys Dairy Milk should be banned, or at least returned to something vaguely edible. Kraft claimed not to have changed the ingredients but something is definitely different from the CDM I remember from even just a decade ago. Unpleasant claggy sludge. Give me Lindt, Milka or Tony's Chocolonely any day of the week.
Dairy Milk, when I last ate it, was indeed drastically different to what it used to be like.
Milka I definitely liked, oh yes! However I have to say my preference for chocolate now is something more like Nomo, the other brand I cannot remember right now. I'm slowly weaning myself off chocolate anything, which is not only a long and slow process but also difficult! I managed it with pizza though, so I have no doubt it will soon happen with chocolate too!
Can't argue with that.
Sadly this was wholly predictable when and American bought out Cadburys, although Dairy Milk still has a long way to fall before it reaches the depths of the vomit flavoured lumps which pass for chocolate in the US.
Well I wouldn't describe US chocolate, based on the bars I had in January 2020, as that bad! It wasn't as good as British chocolate, not even close, but it wasn't that bad!
I did like the Canadian Walmart's Great Value mint chocolate on my way back from Toronto in 2018
