Twilight/final non-PRM Class 321 workings

Maybe abeillo Anglia are doing a new concept parcels service.
In the return off red star parcels.
Remember in the 80s when parcel dmus coupled together with passenger ones ie class 108 and worked services like Buxton to Manchester Piccadilly and dropped off parcels on the way.
Would be great iff this did occur again using the parcel non prm units with a retanus one though.
However on the non prm units and including the other 321s when brand new in British rail days they actually did parcels to.
With the front portion behind the driver actually used for this and the portion locked out to the public.
When royal mail staff were present quite often the front set or set off doors behind the driver where the staff was was unavailable for public.
With either side off the doors blue lights lit for royal mail use only.
Quite often services to southend Victoria was used a lot for this purpose .
Anyone else remember this early 90s.
Wish we could go back to then and have another 30 years off 321s.

334 is not with GA
From what I’ve seen this week, the non-PRMs only seem to be on peak time workings, with mainly 5 car 720s and the odd Northern or Renatus unit covering the remaining diagrams during the day - guess this is to reflect them being fully withdrawn during the course of the next two weeks.

However on the southend Victoria's what a difference nothing but 720s during the day never mind any 321 retanus ones alone.

I’ve been on the GAML all day and that is also what I have seen. Even the renatus 321s are sparse, almost everything being 5-720.

The 0754 to London on platform 4, Colchester north on weekdays is still a solid 321 diagram. Tends to be a Renatus or two. Comes down from clacton

Hopefully next week I’ll be able to go to Clacton and wivenhoe with my bike. Will report numbers in due course.
Regarding 321424, according to trainlogger.com , it was last seen at Forest Gate on 11/12/21.

So at Clacton today are 321.335 , 336 and 339 all coupled up together. Guess they will not run again
Renatus 321.315 (rear unit in Frating collision) arrived from London and went to depot. The other unit, 309 wasn't seen unless it was one I saw (behind a 720) at the back of the depot

Yes it was 100 percent ref my post it also was on the 0900 1200 1500 braintree diagramm.
One diagramm to remain a 321 for time being.

321406 and 321308 worked this mornings 0923 Ipswich to London liverpool Street then worked ecs to ilford E.M.U.D.
Could this be the final possible non prm working for a 321.

I think I know the answer to this but has anyone noted any non-PRM Class 321 workings today?
They’ve all been stood down now - all workings are now Renatus, Northern or 720s

From a very reliable source and friend off mine in the colchester area.
Wednesday 29th December 2021 following workings:
1520 vstp 5N00 colchester csd to clacton csd was 321312 321317 with 321343. 321312 and 321317 was originally ecs from ilford earlier on in the day but called at colchester Carriage sidings to pick up 321343 to take it to clacton.
Meanwhile 1610 VSTP 5F53 CLACTON C.S.D TO COLCHESTER SIDINGS other direction was 321333 but ecs and running solo. On its own so they are still running but adhoc infrequent as required ecs movements only.
Any further ecs movements in their final days are also very much welcomed here please iff anyone stumbles across any in their travels.
