No candles at Wick, no games at Bowling, no military headwear at Busby and no articulated loco at Fairlie.

Sometimes the situation at Hope (Derbyshire) seems pretty hopeless.

I also have seen any beer brewed specially for people called Edmund or Edward at Edale.

Nor any Bams trying to wade through the River Derwent at Bamford.

Nor any elderly Hathers at Hathersage.

Nor any Grindles waiting to paddle across the River Derwent further downstream at Grindleford.
Nowhere near as hopeless as it is at Hope North Wales, where there is absolutely no hope!

I went to Trafford Centre on the Manchester Metrolink once. I heard there were meant to be some shops there, but all I could find was a large building dedicated to some crude simulation of hell.

You wont even find average horses at Weston-super-Mare, let alone super ones! If you head to the beach you might find some donkeys though.

And I believe the bridge is only of standard height at Highbridge

No religious office holders at Parson Street. and nowhere to sleep at Bedminster

Birdwatchers probably won't find either species at Martins Heron.

Halifax has email now, I believe. The forge in Kirkstall Forge is long gone. As for the fat blokes at Menston...

Messers Pleasance and Sinden never auditioned at Doncaster, that I'm aware of. Crosby never went to Bingley either.

I had a date in Selby once (sorry).

Manifestations of disgust are probably not very often to be observed at Tunbridge Wells.

I went to Ford station, got very disappointed when they weren't selling cars.

The castle at Newcastle is one of the oldest buildings in the area (and it is more like a tower/keep).

You can't get an alcoholic drink made from fermented honey, nor take part in religious ceremonies in a dedicated building at Bristol Temple Meads.

I mentioned the fact that Shippea Hill isn't on a hill earlier, but I'm also not sure it has much in the way of ocean-based transport for small green vegetables.

Do vehicles stop at Carshalton ? In trees at Carshalton Beeches ? If I still lived there I could tell you but it's been over 30 years.
