A pronto could to Sheffield could interwork with a 53 towards Mansfield etc
This must have indeed been prep for an MOT as it has passed today! Would be odd MOT'ing both vehicles if they're not going to be used!Speak of the devil and it shall appear! No sign of Lolly (16962) around the garage this morning, but Splash was just inside the workshop door as seen below;

Not in regular service but AFAIK it is based at Grimsby (or was last time I saw it) and works community eventsHi I’m new here just a quick question is Hattie still in operation
Many thanks
Thanks that’s what I ment I knew it wasn’t in regular service. Just wondered as I haven’t seen it in depot that much recentlyNot in regular service but AFAIK it is based at Grimsby (or was last time I saw it) and works community events
Would of thought so I think all bus depots are equipped with a bus washDoes SEM have a bus wash? I know the weather's been bad but there are some really scruffy articles round here in North Notts.
All depots should have one, I know Stagecoach East's were affected by the cold snap and they broke, unsure if it had similar effect for SCEMDoes SEM have a bus wash? I know the weather's been bad but there are some really scruffy articles round here in North Notts.
It's just the state of the roads at the minute with muck and grit, add a little bit of water and hey presto! I was looking at a filthy e400 in Grimsby the other morning that had come out of the garage clean but had done a return trip to Louth and come back looking like it had never seen a wash!Does SEM have a bus wash? Here she is alive and well, and with Lolly behind!Hi I’m new here just a quick question is Hattie still in operation

Wow Grimsby have a paint workshop?Grimsby based 19533 is the first of the depot's vehicles to recieve "We've got you" livery according to bustimes.org. I can't get onto the discord that has the image of the vehicle painted however so haven't seen. I imagine it should be in a position to appear soonish
EDIT: It was shared in a server I am in!
Wow nice to see her back in the Depot as i haven’t seen her in a whileIt's just the state of the roads at the minute with muck and grit, add a little bit of water and hey presto! Heads up
Lolly and splash will sort of be running this year
The fully open topper will be in use for the 17
And not 100% how to explain this but lolly and splash will be integrated into one bus

Sounds intriguing, looking forward to seeing what they come up with. Wonder if they've finally realised that 3 open tops are needed for the 17, 2 in service and a spare - possibly the 2 fully open Enviros and some sort of make one good one from the best bits of the Volvos?Might be like the Humber Flyer/Fastcat cross over from a few years back on one of the MANViro 300s! There are 2 full open top E400s so one of them must be a new design? Can't imagine there only being 1 Open Topper for the 17..

Yeah would be nice to see them every 15 mins and if they have could up with a new Character MaybeSounds intriguing, looking forward to seeing what they come up with. There has been all sorts of weird and wonderful closed tops used when an open top is off for maintenance (and usually on a hot sunny day!), so to have a spare open top could be useful!
As I often say, we'll have to wait and see...
Ended up out on the 9/10 circuit today. The driver who drove it posted a picture of it on Facebook outside the Tesco on Victoria Street and said the old logo is on whilst they wait for the correct logos etc to arrive.Grimsby's new repaint, 19533, was seen in the depot yard today. Sadly I can't attach a picture, but so far it doesn't have the blue/yellow/green panel on the front dash panel, nor any logos or fleetnames on the sides. It does have an old style Stagecoach "Beachball" fleetname on the front dash panel however, as well as neccessary legal lettering.
EDIT... I seem to be able to attach a photo from my phone, if the technology behaves! Picture shows repainted 19533 in new Stagecoach livery, with others in the background.

I agree with you Old logos suit it so muchEnded up out on the 9/10 circuit today. The driver who drove it posted a picture of it on Facebook outside the Tesco on Victoria Street and said the old logo is on whilst they wait for the correct logos etc to arrive.
In an odd way, I think I actually prefer the front of the bus with the beach ball logo!
A quick look on bustimes suggests the We've Got You repaints are rolling out across the EM, with 37199 pictured on the bustimes discord in the new livery.
As an ex pupil of CYS - when did that become a thing? Was always Emerson’s coaches before19210 entered service at Grimsby today. It operated the Great Limber Caistor Yarborough school service this afternoon. I've noticed today the school services now track on bustimes too!
I think it's been since the start of this academic year. I drive to work around 20 past 7 each morning and 2 deckers out of use pass me, one of which I assume is the Caistor Yarborough bus.As an ex pupil of CYS - when did that become a thing? Was always Emerson’s coaches before
Just 19195/6/206 from Skeg to go then! I was on 19207 last week and it has a massive hoover on it, sounds very nice19200 has arrived in Grimsby, photographed in the garage today, 27th February
January 2024 is when Stagecoach gained that contract, and a Fulstow to Toll Bar Academy contract. 19197/198 joined the allocation to cover the increase in PVR.I think it's been since the start of this academic year. Isn’t the Toll Bar one the 108?January 2024 is when Stagecoach gained that contract, and a Fulstow to Toll Bar Academy contract. 19197/198 joined the allocation to cover the increase in PVR.
Theres 2 for Tollbar, the 108 and the Fulstow contract mentionedIsn’t the Toll Bar one the 108?
The 108 is Weelsby Road to Toll Bar, which Stagecoach have operated for over 25 years. Early in the decade they operated quite a number of Toll Bar contracts, the last of those to go was the afternoon 104 (Holton-le-Clay) which was absorbed into the 51 and then the afternoon 50 from Grimsby to Salfleet was diverted via New Waltham and Holton to cover the contract instead.Isn’t the Toll Bar one the 108?
