    Claiming Compensation from GWR

You don't need a deadlock letter, you can also take a claim which has been unresolved for a certain period (40 working days comes to mind?) to the Ombudsman. Fair warning though, they're likely to be useless. Still, I would go through the process anyway

Merseyrail mandates that Trainline tickets must be printed out

Couldn't have put it better myself.

Merseyrail mandates that Trainline tickets must be printed out

I'm not sure if it's changed recently, but last I looked you needed to contact customer support for refunds, so I fear it would become very obvious very quickly!

SWR showing "no tickets available" on Exeter/Waterloo trains 8 May (GWR strike day)

I can get itineraries for that date: https://beta.trainsplit.com/results?FromStation=7034100&ToStation=7010720&OutboundDate=08/05/2024&OutboundTime=09:15&LeaveAfterOutbound=1&Adults=1&OpenReturn=false&adv:ob:MaxChanges=7&adv:ob:IncludedTocs=SW

UKSC: Mercer v SoS for Business, implications for industrial action

Good. Watch this be used by some to argue even louder for a withdrawal from the European convention on human rights, though. Hopefully they'll lose their jobs in a few months.

LNER deny refund on Off-Peak Return where return leg cancelled due to strike

Do you genuinely think that a consumer is only entitled to the difference to the equivalent single back when the railway hasn't provided half of the services promised? Not to mention that the 50% refund policy during disruption is often advertised to consumers, or documented in FAQs/terms of...

LNER deny refund on Off-Peak Return where return leg cancelled due to strike

So they still did it wrong, even with his involvement? :D Still, not something to complain about from a passenger perspective, I suppose.

LNER deny refund on Off-Peak Return where return leg cancelled due to strike

This is simply incorrect. Refer to iKB -> Refunds - Disruption -> Passenger Journey Tickets

    Connectivity Challenges with Digital Railcard

I think they should be treated exactly the same as the railcards targeted at the younger age groups, to be honest. How do you know there's limited fraud taking place if the plastic ones don't even have a photograph?

    It does in digital form

Do you think that the UK switching to electric vehicles is realistic?

I have to admin the one-pedal driving that Nissan do is really nice to use. Now that I've found a way to charge w/ CCS I'm intending to hold onto my Leaf a bit longer, but it was one of the features I thought I'd really miss if I ever changed car.

Bought ticket on forum not given ticket for full journey

This is correct. I don't particularly like it, and it may well end up changing.

Bought ticket on forum not given ticket for full journey

Previous discussion here: https://www.railforums.co.uk/threads/why-is-there-a-transfer-fixed-link-from-stratford-to-london-liverpool-street.258385/ Despite this being an issue that I would describe to be entirely of Rail Delivery Group's making, I am confident that Raileasy will do the right...

Isn't this something that the expense receipt gives you, on a per journey basis?

Do reservation systems identify priority seats?

Understood, however I still think this isn't ideal simply due to how much extra faff Passenger Assist currently requires passengers requesting assistance to go to. My understanding is that there is finally some work likely to happen in this space to actually provide APIs to retailers, but my...
