TfW class 398 Stadler Citylink tram trains

The article is total rage bait. This has been known about for 7 to 8 years. It listed on the TfW FAQs. It's simply Wales On Line trying to get clicks. The trams won't have toilets. Just as on the Newcastle lines that became Metro, the Altrincham and Bury lines which became Metrolink and the...

TfW class 398 Stadler Citylink tram trains

If you are wondering where the photos and video have gone, the admins have set up a thread in the Photography section and moved them. I would guess test runs will get back into swing once the Easter holidays are over. Just keep looking at the Rail schedules

What is happening with the Royal Mail 325s left at PRDC?

Maybe totally unrelated but 5Z41 is three Varamis rail 321's heading to Wembley. It is possible they are picking up the 325's to tow back north? Passing the Crewe webcam at about 09:50.

Future for Class 180 Adelante fleets

Seen a proposal this morning for a Liverpool to Rhoose open access service down the Marches. They are talking about using 222's (again) so that's a possibility for the 180's. Or convert them to Open Access sleepers so if they do break down then at least people can sleep through it

Potential Coryton extension and passing point at Heath Low Level?

Couple of points. This part of the network is devolved, so it's down to TfW to do this. However they will also need the crossover at Penarth to maintain the frequency. This is still under Network Rail so they aren't hurrying. A passing place would be needed at Rhiwbina for this to work and I...

What stock could be used on Lumo services to Stirling, if they fail to aquire 222s in time?

What about the ex TPE Mk5s with a 93? They are available and a rake of 5 with a DVT would work until the 80x are available
