  • Really appreciate that reply Darksoul. Coincidentally, I'm applying for a post at Victoria/Charing Cross too. I went there yesterday to try to introduce myself to the DM's in advance of the interview (if I pass the tests) but there was no one there as it was a weekend. Frustrating given that I had come up from Ramsgate!
Do you know who the Driver Managers are at Victoria? I know there is two of them and I believe of them is David Cafe. I think it would really good if I knew a bit about them before i went in.
Out of curiosity, what questions did you ask them at the end of your interview Darksoul?
I think all the London Metro route training is in Orpington isn't it?

To say I appreciate your response is an understatement.

    James.
Well with the tests best thing to do is do your research on this website and just practise as much of the material as you can that's what I did. With the interview have at least 2 answers ready for every question and the main ones to have good answers for are: why you want the job, whats good customer service, Health and safety means everything, Do your research on the company how many employees, MD etc and on the day have a few questions to ask them yourself ready aswell very important and good luck
    Darksoul,

I’ve got my assessment day for Southeastern Trainee Driver coming up extremely soon (13th March). I don’t normally get that nervous but this is a huge exception. I’ve been waiting for this day since I was a little boy! Well I’m only 23 now, so still technically a little boy haha!

I thought I would just swing you a message because I saw that you done the new selection tests successfully. How did the interviews go, what sort of things did they ask you? If there’s absolutely anything pointers you could give me I would be unbelievably grateful, more than I am able to convey in this email.

Thanks in advance and all the best to you,

    James – [email protected]
