Could have gone via Shrewsbury, then either Chester or Crewe.
I was doing Leicester to Rhyl and staff were fine with me going off piste a bit with my routing.
The Accumulated wisdom on here , it now makes sense.
I was trying to get from Leicester to Rhyl after the football.
Ended up with an interesting Leicester-Derby-Tamworth-Stafford-Wolves-Shrewsbury-Chester-Rhyl trip.
The 2 min xfer at Wolves was fun.
My sympathies to the family of the deceased...
The rumour was person hit between Stoke & Macclesfield.
What I found odd was why this stopped everything on the wcml north of Stafford towards Crewe and Derby to Stoke.
Why would multiple lines be affected?

I was out for a walk near Bodfari in Denbighshire when I came across a DMU that looked pretty much abandoned & forgotten. Turns out there is some slow progress bringing back to life.

North Wales Mainline is more of a big branch line but cracking scenery. Gets me to football if it's a Saturday match at the correct time of day. Just don't mention the late train cattle class 2 car 175 run from Chester.
