Merry Christmas RF
I bought a return Super Off Peak return ticket online with seat reservations on 22 Dec for travel out 24 Dec and returning today on 27 Dec on a 9am train. As this was just before the Christmas break I thought the timetable as finalised.
When I checked today that train has...
I have a Super Off-Peak Single (Any Permitted) which says on the e-Ticket in the GWR app "A break of journey at intermediate stations is not permitted".
The restriction code 2W doesn't say anything about break of journey, nor does the ticket on brfares - is this enforceable?
Exceptionally niche request, but I'm planning on travelling on this train next week:
Thursday, 11 August
18.13 Madrid-Puerta De Atocha
20.46 Málaga María Zambrano
AVE 02182
I have a flight at 01:15 from Malaga, which means I'd need to be at Málaga María Zambrano by 23:30 latest to make it to...
A relative is travelling on an off-peak service from Paddington in the early afternoon on Tuesday, they'll have a single ski bag between the two of them after a holiday.
Subject to space would this be allowed on the train?
Thanks in advance.
I think you're confused - it says last orders for food are at 19:31 at Reading.
It wouldn't matter how long or short your journey is from Taunton at 20:49 as it's closed, so it can't mean your journey from Taunton is too short.
Obsessing over a small thing but I'm getting married the next day...
Taunton station is after Reading station on GWR, and Reading is "Last call for Pullman Dining" - so there's no option for dinner if boarding at Taunton.
That's what I hoped, I'm travelling Paddington to Taunton and want the dinner service.
Do they not start it until after Reading maybe and there's now not enough time to do the service before Taunton?
If the last call is at Reading it doesn't make much sense to be saying if you get on at...
Is the Pullman dining service available from Paddington to Taunton? I'm sure I've done this before but it now says:
19:04
London Paddington First call for Pullman Dining
19:31
Reading Last call for Pullman Dining
20:49
Taunton (Pullman not available as journey is too short)
It's London to Exeter on a Super Off-Peak Return.
We'd resigned ourselves to buying a single for him at ~£50 to get back after his isolation and 'losing' the ~£35 for his return portion, but another ~£35 to excess my ticket for no logical reason is too high a cost so we're reluctantly going to...
That's... unfortunate... He was happy to pay for a new ticket himself but for both of us is a unnecessarily punitive approach which is a real shame as we want to do the right thing, I guess as it's only a lateral flow test there's no legal requirement to isolate.
I have two Off-Peak returns discounted with a Two-Together railcard.
We've travelled the outbound, my friend has tested positive for COVID-19 and we are due to travel back today. He will isolate but I want to travel back on my own.
Would the railway allow me to travel back if I present both...
