All, 5Q79 isn't running tonight. It will now run on Friday morning to bring the DVT & TOE back to Landore. Loco will still be 37 800 and will leave straight after dropping the 2 Mk4s off.
Twas a bit wet & miserable this morning so not the best of pics.
175 002 arrived at Landore on Saturday 4th March. It was moved here for an inspection by TfW, Angel Trains and Chrysalis Rail staff, in advance of the fleet going off lease later this year.
Just watched on Railcam, and it was 2 x 2cars leaving Shrewsbury so 002 is still attached to 004 to make up 1V94. Again, any confirmed sightings/info and I would be most grateful.
The plan is to then get 002 to Landore. I have a vested interest in knowing that the unit is definitely en-route to Cardiff, and not dropped off at Chester.
143 625 was preserved by the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway. However, when the individual cars were being removed from Landore, they were all scheduled to go first to the Wensleydale Railway (who had preserved 143 623.
I understand there were some other movements planned between the two...
Following completion of Full PRM conversion works, 153 318 & 153 382 will leave Landore tomorrow for Canton.
