Anyone seen any of the ex Metroline red Enviro 400's lately? 33410 had a few days on the A17 but has seemingly vanished whilst the whereabouts of the other two isn't known.

Secondly open top E400 33426 that was on the A5 recently albeit tracking as 66847 (now in Somerset), anyone seen 33426 as it's not tracking.
33426 is in sumnercourt running the A5 (21/10/20)

Has anyone seen 32761 - wj55crx for a while as I havnt and hasn't been tracked since the 22nd
Also we about the lizard branded buses looking at 32761 in kernow green and 32762 in lizard branding if they wanted to get rid of the lizard brand could they remove the vinyls and put kernow ones over the lizard paint scheme as they don't look to different colours, the lizard singles though do have a much lighter colours.

Update re 32761 - it was in Camborne yesterday sporting a defect sticker on the windscreen.

Hi,
For the few Somerset folks on here ex WOE Dart 42969 is now in the depot yard at Taunton whilst E200s
44507/508 are in BOS green livery.

Cheers Mike for the update. I've bemoaned the lack of repaints in the past so credit where it's due that they are getting on repainting the e200s. I'd heard it mentioned that the existing Yeovil Darts would also be repainted though given their age, that would be a surprise.

I was a told while back that they were focusing on the branded routes first like the 21 and 28 so now that’s pretty much been done they can now starting painting the other fleet green. The darts are desperately in need of a paint definitely.

That might be true in part but these are vehicles that were transferred from FHD two and a half years ago. They have done a fine job with refurbing the e300s on the 28. Most of the 21 were already painted, being in Atlantic Coaster colours that have rather smartly been amended for the 21. However, it is good that they are now getting on and getting the fleet treated, though I'd cheerfully concede that some of the oldest fleet wouldn't justify a paint job.

Thanks Mike. Are the ex FWE Darts replacements or additions I wonder?
Unknown as yet Whiteway but led to believe they will be for service use as Taunton low on available vehicles at the moment. Will post when further info is known,
Cheers for now, keep safe,

It looks like most of the former FHD E200s have now moved to Yeovil from Taunton so I’m surprised the darts already there are getting repainted too.

Both 42953 and 42942 have been repainted in recent months.

I’d hardly call slapping some lilac paint on the lower skirts of a 4 year old coat of white paint (42953) and covering faded barbie skirt (42942) as a repaint. A certain tidy up in the case of 42942 but they still look ‘off brand’.

Indeed. They are better for it and it would be churlish to say otherwise but essentially, they've repainted a third of each of them. 42942 still has the remnants of its old 41 branding on the roofline.

They'd look better with a full repaint. I'd love to be wrong but repainting 14 year old vehicles when ones a year older are being despatched from OpCos, seems unlikely.

Yes we've got all 7 of them here in Yeovil at the moment. 42949 was on jacks in TN depot yesterday whilst 42950 arrived back from there this afternoon so assume just a visit.
Cheers,

I’m quite surprised really that the darts are still at Yeovil despite the E200s. I’ve heard they’re going to be repainted despite their age.

This is Yeovil we are talking about, so anything is a bonus. :D

Thought this might be worth a mention. I saw former FDC Volvo B6BLE/Wright Crusader 48229 on the A30 heading westbound near Camborne earlier but in just plain white livery.

As I posted the other day Marc Huws stated that 12 are due in this livery.

Marc Huws has stated on Twitter that another two single deckers from Somerset are away being repainted. As we know 44507/08 now wear the new livery. Good to see they’re finally getting on with painting the single deckers.

Do you know if all the remaining geminis will be i kernow green or any other livery
Once the 12 have been painted for the colleges, all the others will just wear the standard green livery.

Is there a shortage (other than vehicles temporarily at Hinckley Point) of vehicles in U Lines livery?
It's something that Kernow will either have to many of like at Christmas and during the Summer, or not enough of during term time so no easy solution
