Its meant to be 5 years, and had this confirmed at Atrium court when I sat tests for conductor in March....just not sure if I'll hear between now and August.

Have received my 'met the standard' email. Inverness based. Hoping as I have pschyometric tests from Aug '19, they'll accept them...although knowing how long everything takes in the railway I'm probably being a bit optimistic. Good luck everyone!!

You don't say how you applied, but when I applied through the scotrail website each depot was advertised separately.

It is what it is. It depends how much you want it. But I just think it's the sheer volume of applicants they get from massive recruitment drives and each depot will have different needs and also it serves their needs to have a pool of candidates incase tests/interviews/medicals failed.

Not yet, my interview was 4th April at Inverness. I know its pretty much dependent on how much internal movement between conductor and driver, which was advertised a couple weeks after conductor. I ve applied for driver too and still waiting to hear results for SJT. So there could be a fair...

I applied in 2019 passed the psychometric tests and DMI, and put in reserve pool which got extended for a year due to covid. DMi I'm know will have expired, but the psychometric tests will expire (5 years ) in August this year. Did get a couple of emails in that time to ask if details still up...

Do you think? I cant recall there being big focus in the instructions. They normally (well at Atrium court) aren't trying to catch you out and emphasise what they're looking for. Some of the questions had a fair bit of reading and analysing. I did them with time to check each one and submitted...
