I think it’s the clubs who are looking at financial implications. They simply want to acquire more money. It should really be the clubs who are looking after players health, not FIFA.

When you reach for something on the bathroom shelf and in doing so you knock everything else off. When you mow the lawn and constantly get your legs/feet tangled in the mower cable.

One would assume that the clubs involved in the Club World Cup would have a depth of top class players. The simple answer to players health due to fixture congestion is to rotate the players. Hardly rocket science.

This may sound a stupid question, but in theory at what time of the night would they be most visible? Yes I know it’s during hours of darkness, but due to the earths rotation is there a ‘best’ time? For example just after sunset or just before sunrise, or the middle of the two?

Whatever system is used, the ‘problem’ is actually getting people to vote. Making it simple & convenient won’t make a scrap of difference. As it is now, if you want to vote, you will. If you don’t want to vote, or can’t be bothered, you won’t. That will remain the same.

This is my thoughts also. I’d guess costs for television rights would increase dramatically so BBC will either drop snooker altogether or just show highlights.
