The latest Don Coffey cabride shows an eastbound run through the upgraded valley, including being looped at Bamford and the Dore south chord. Train is a loaded 66/6 freight from Tunstead.

My best attempt at a roughly to scale signalling diagram for Chinley to Dore & Totley in the eastbound direction with the new loop and signals. The red and yellow bands represent the signal sections, showing how the long sections through the tunnels constrain capacity. Hope there aren't too many...
RTT suggests there were 5 out yesterday and 5 out today (7 different units). So perhaps there is cause for optimism - or just a fluke. Obviously things change day by day.

I'm almost certain that pre-covid it was 2tph with 4 car trains most of the day. Not sure about in the peaks. 1tph with 8 cars has only been since covid if I remember correctly.

Some station signs have now been updated to show the new station, plus a sticker covering the future Liverpool Baltic station between Central and Brunswick. This is at Moorfields.
This drivers eye view video gives a good update of progress. I'm not sure exactly the filming date but it was uploaded 2 weeks ago. I haven't watched it entirely but piles and masts stretch almost all the way to Wigston.
